Crest Medical HF Antidote Gel – Accept No Substitutes

Following a recent complaint about advertising claims made for H-F Antidote Gel, we are happy to announce that the MHRA has NOT upheld the complaint while stating that “no other product for HF burns holds a UK Marketing authorisation.”

The full report can be read on MHRA’s website.

Crest Medical HF Antidote Gel is effective in the treatment of skin burns caused by Hydrofluoric Acid. The gel, when applied to the wound reacts with the Hydrofluoric Acid to neutralise the powerful fluoride ion, which if untreated, could cause a fluoride ion attack resulting in the serious condition; Hypocalcemia.

HF Antidote Gel (25g tube) is available in singles, packs of 12, or as part of a kit including 3 tubes, 2 pairs of gloves and a durable box with wall bracket.

Crest Medical rises to the challenges brought on by Swine Flu

With the unprecedented demands for Tamiflu, Relenza, face masks and alcohol gel, it is testament to Crest’s established supply chain that within a week, it was able to supply in excess of 17,500 packs of Tamiflu, 1 million plus masks, and over 15,000 alcohol gels.

In addition to the level of demand, we believe that the Swine Flu outbreak has demonstrated Crest’s commitment to its customers.

While others in the industry have tried to exploit the situation and increase their prices dramatically, at Crest we have maintained
our standard prices with the only increases being made as a direct result of manufacturing increase.

At Crest Medical we are committed to serving our customers today, and every day.
